Editorial Submission Guidelines (External Contributors)
Asia Tech Lens (ATL) is an independent media platform based in Singapore, exploring how technology is reshaping Asia’s economies. We publish stories, analysis, and perspectives across themes such as AI, mobility, infrastructure, digital economy, and sustainability - connecting founders, operators, investors, and policymakers across the region’s innovation ecosystem.
Note: ATL also publishes clearly labelled Sponsored/Partner pieces under separate commercial terms.

1) Contribution Types
We welcome submissions from industry leaders, founders, researchers, and subject-matter experts that offer original insight and informed perspective.
Opinion / Thought Leadership - Insightful commentary on current developments, policy shifts, or emerging technologies in Asia.
Expert Commentary - Focused takes on specific trends, supported by data or real-world examples.
Q&A / Interview (by arrangement) - When a conversation format better serves the topic.
2) Editorial Standards
Submissions should:
Offer original, non-promotional analysis (not advertorial).
Present a clear point of view, supported by evidence or experience.
Maintain clarity and accessibility - we write for informed professionals, not only specialists.
Disclose any potential conflicts of interest (e.g., commercial ties to subjects discussed).
Cite sources when quoting statistics or research (links preferred; reputable sources).
ATL reserves the right to edit for clarity, style, and length while maintaining author intent. We may update headlines, decks, and cross-links for readability and discovery.
3) Author Information
Please include:
Full name, title, and organization
Short bio (30–50 words)
Optional headshot (landscape or square, ≥1000px width)
Preferred contact or LinkedIn for readers
4) Submission & Review Process
Send pitches or drafts to editor@asiatechlens.com
Please submit as a Google Doc (link with comment access) or .docx; include charts/tables as images with captions and source links.
Our editorial team aims to review within 7–10 working days.
Accepted pieces will be scheduled for publication on asiatechlens.com and may be distributed via our newsletter and social channels.
We’ll confirm timing and share a preview link prior to publication.
House style: concise plain English; spell out acronyms on first use; use dd/mm/yyyy for dates; S$ / US$ for currencies; short paragraphs and descriptive sub-heads.
5) Rights & Republishing
By submitting, contributors grant ATL the right of first publication and a non-exclusive license to publish, archive, and promote the work across ATL platforms (including social posts and newsletter blurbs). Authors may republish after 7 days, with attribution:
“Originally published on Asia Tech Lens.”
Please do not submit simultaneously to other outlets prior to ATL’s decision.
6) Integrity & Disclosures
AI assistance: Allowed, but the author is responsible for accuracy and must ensure originality. Disclose material AI use in a note to editors.
Plagiarism, undisclosed conflicts, or affiliate links are not permitted.
We correct significant errors transparently and welcome reader feedback.
