This analysis is completely wrong. Super apps exist in China and Asia because the digital landscape was underdeveloped and a few giant platforms with outsized market power emerged, and they are now growing horizontally. Their large existing user bases allow them to launch and popularize new services, and they do so within their existing app because a very small percentage of users would go through the friction of installing a new app and creating an account.

In no way do users in Asia prefer super apps.
